How to make GOD laugh!!!

So they say, “If you wanna make GOD laugh. MAKE  PLANS.” Funny thing. For a planner, strategist and creative thinker… I kinda didn’t get the joke at first. Oh yes, I got it. But I often got a little bothered by it. Really God?!? What does this mean? (side eye)

To be successful, aren’t we suppose to set goals, make plans, set expectations aka have a PLAN to fulfill our dreams/destiny?!? Whew. Cleary, I have often pondered this and recently had a  AH HA MOMENT moment!

I have come to believe this. God gives us all plans, visions and opportunities. While blessings are bestowed upon us we should remember we have a responsibility on our part. We earthlings are tasked with a couple of basic instructions to ensure favorable outcome. 

First, we must carry on a consistent relationship with God. Why? Because when dealing with our own selves, relationships, (friendship/husband/wife/girlfriend boyfriend/family), career or other factors things come up. “Things” could be good or bad. And to that point we MUST be in tune in order to move in the right direction.  So that means spending time with the Creator and getting to know the voice or frequency.

And second but most important, know that God the Omnipotent, the One with All Power can do something called “change” his/her mind. Just like we sometimes do. Our life experiences are like seasons. They are ever-changing and evolving. The wind does not always blow in the same direction, the path is not always straight nor is it always black and white. I mean, have you ever seen a rainbow?!?  The “All Knowing” is always crafting, molding shifting our plans. So my friend, it only makes perfect sense to check-in on how your blueprints are being designed on a daily basis.

Once this is done, the colorful beauty of this amazing outcome is VICTORY. Collaborate your plans with GOD everyday and they WILL be realized to the maximum!
