September’s Inspirational Sunbeam: Seville Michelle Anastos

Last Friday offically kicked off Fashion Week in New York City with Fashion Night Out. I was invited to attend the most fabulous Seville Michelle Anastos, Accessories Designer newest collection. The Queens, NY based jewelry designer is the creator of very fashion forward pieces that are adored and coveted by many including Mary, Ciara, Beyonce and now me.
Seville’s anticipated trunk show was hosted by Patricia Fields and the atmosphere was most theatrical, exciting and jam packed!

While researching more about Miss Seville Michelle, I came across this impactful quote by her. “Blessings that aren’t used become curses.” Oh wow..a girl after my own heart.

1st Timothy says 4:14 says, Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Sunbeams, we are all blessed and given a unique craft from God. That’s what makes this universe so wonderful. No gift is the same. No one designer, baker, farmer, doctor, lawyer, model, photographer, singer, gardener, preacher, nurse, business professional, artist are alike.

We live in a world where if you find your purposeful driven life, your possibilities are endless. Take hold of which you are most passionate about. Once you do, you will come to labor in love. Your work will no longer a burden. It will be fun, fulfilling and invigorating. Some of us like Seville have caught fire to our deepest desire and I encourage us all to SOAR. For those still searching for your gift or fearful of acting on it, PRAY and you too will SOAR.
